Bringing the Mediterranean sun to your home. Extra virgin olive oil from Kalamata, hand-picked by one family for seven generations.

For seven generations the Panagouleas family has produced extra virgin olive oil in Kampos, West Mani, near Kalamata.

The olives are handpicked at the start of the November harvest and cold-pressed under the family’s supervision, straight from the family’s trees to your home.

estia

An insanely secure thinking partner, living at home. Local AI on your own Mac, reached only through Signal.

  • Local AI: the AI model (Google’s Gemma) runs on your own Mac. No cloud AI, no account with us, no telemetry.
  • Only you, only Signal: no web app, no open port. Only the Signal accounts in her config get an answer, and setup adds only yours.
  • Read-only, no commands: estia reads your mail and calendar but never changes them, and the AI model can’t run a command of its own.

estia is reached only through Signal: encrypted texts, voice notes and calls. She/He reads your mail and calendar but never changes them, dims the lights and puts some jazz on. Chats, memory and profile stay on the Mac.

Insanely secure, and every claim can be checked in the open-source code. Signal is her only way in: no web app, no chat on the Mac, no open port. Only the Signal accounts in her config get an answer, and setup adds only yours. The AI model can’t run a command of its own, there is no plugin or skill store, and a cloud model is refused. She runs in her own hidden Mac account, not as you: keys and sign-ins live in files only that account can read, never in chat, logs or the code. An emergency stop on your phone, /lock, halts her answers and calls. Outside text is read as information, not as orders. Code rules reduce prompt injection (orders hidden in a mail, a web page or a file) but cannot rule it out.

estia likes a good question. She answers first, and on a call, when you think aloud, she may ask one question back. Her default personality is playful: a short, light joke when the moment invites it, never when someone is worried.

estia (Εστία) is the hearth of a Greek home. Name her what you like: ours is called Tiffany, and estia started as her.

  • Morning digest at 09:15: today’s calendar, tomorrow in one line, the mail that needs a reply
  • Several calendars, each with its own name: Google and Outlook (Microsoft 365), read-only
  • Calls that can be interrupted, with a short summary text afterwards
  • 11 languages, one at a time, heard and spoken on your Mac: picked at setup, changed by typing /language
  • Your own words win: what she learns by herself never overwrites what you told her
  • Needs a Mac with an M1 chip or newer, 16 GB of memory or more (32 GB recommended), and a spare number for her Signal account
  • Optional: a tiny AI model on the Mac (AgentJev) sorts obvious bulk mail before Gemma reads it
  • Open source (MIT; the call helper, AGPL-3.0): ask your AI coding assistant to “set me up”, or run scripts/setup.sh. Secrets are typed into your Terminal, hidden on screen, never into the chat

Safety Routes architecture: scanners including Artemis and Trivy plus a React app in a Docker container, connected to mitre-explorer.org and Google Gemini

Safety Routes

Non-intrusive vulnerability scanning for 200 NGOs in the Netherlands, with Virtual Routes. Each gets a plain-language report; a second round measures what got fixed.

A health check-up for an NGO’s website. With each organization’s permission, Safety Routes looks for common weak spots and explains what it found in everyday language: what the problem is, why it matters and how to fix it.

It runs free, trusted tools: Artemis with Nuclei for websites, Trivy for server packages, and MITRE Explorer to link software to known flaws. A second scan confirms the fixes worked.

Small team, AI supercharged.
